International Women’s Day is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women. The day also marks a call to action for accelerating women’s equality.

Events that will challenge perceptions, illuminate, educate and entertain the most curious minds – from historical lives to behind-the-scenes looks at the monarchy and politics, from Shakespeare to the space race.

13th – 22nd Mar– English Tourism Week
Visit Britain is proud to lead the annual English Tourism Week, celebrating the diverse, exciting and vibrant sector, and highlighting the quality and value of English tourism. 

15th Mar – Bath Half Marathon
As the sun comes up on race day, there is always a real sense of excitement and anticipation in the city. Runners and spectators pour into the city centre to see or take part in the race.

Bath Spring Fayre will transform Milsom Street, New Bond Street, and Greens Street into a vibrant celebration of spring.

16th – 24th May – Bath Literature Festival

Celebrated authors, bold new voices, poets, playwrights, and thinkers gather to share the stories shaping our world. From lively panel discussions and intimate readings to workshops, family events, and late‑night talks, the festival invites everyone to dive into the joy of words.

15th May – Party in the City

For one unforgettable night, Bath bursts into life as hundreds of musicians take over venues, streets, churches, bars, and open spaces with every genre imaginable. From soaring choirs in historic halls to indie bands shaking the cobblestones and DJs lighting up late‑night spots, the whole city becomes a stage.

19th – 21st May – Bath Digital Festival

Celebrating our city with a focus on three internationally impactful themes with foundations in Bath. The Bath Digital Festival has chosen Sport and Life Sciences, Space and Cities as their themes this year. They will be curating events to inspire you and design to generate new conversations.

A festival of all the arts, with few rules as to what should be in or out – it’s what people want to do, and what venues in Bath want to put on. It all happens for 2 long weeks & 3 weekends in early summer.

Queer Bath brings together Bath’s museums, historic buildings, and cultural venues in a landmark five-week campaign — the first of its kind in the city. This bold and inclusive initiative honours the rich tapestry of LGBTQ+ lives, stories, and creativity through events, exhibitions, and reinterpretations of collections, all rooted in authenticity and co-creation.
