The Bath Safe Bus and Bath College are collaborating to support 16 Days of Action (25th Nov – 10th Dec) Against Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG). If you’re on a night out in Bath, and you’ve drunk a bit too much, lost your friends, here are our top tips if you find yourself in a vulnerable situation on a night out in Bath:

  1. Stay calm – take a deep breath. Panicking can make it harder to think clearly and make safe decisions
  2. Look for help – teams across the city are there to keep you safe: Bath BID City Marshals, Police, Door Staff, Venue Staff, SPUK, Welfare Team, Bath City Pastors and the Bath Safe Bus
  3. Stick to public, well-lit areas – avoid dark alleyways or secluded streets. Busy streets with shops, pubs and bars are safer and more likely to have help nearby
  4. Find the Bath Safe Bus – staffed with medical professionals and security, the Bath Safe Bus is there to help anyone in a difficult situation. Catch it every Friday & Saturday night at Bath Abbey, Orange Grove, 10.30pm – 4am

Your safety matters – reach out if you need help!
