Originally from Northern Ireland, Michael has been General Manager of the Apex City of Bath hotel and Conference Centre for the past 5 years. With over 27 years of experience within hospitality, in several key cities such as Belfast, Dublin, London, Edinburgh, and now Bath, Michael is no stranger to working in partnerships with many organisations and key stakeholders. A member of the Bath Advisory Group, Chair of the Apex Hotels Group Charity Committee, Michael is also a mentor for undergraduates attending Oxford Brookes University. Outside of a busy work schedule, Michael is a father to 2 children of primary school age, where sports activities consumes his weekends. He is a trustee for the Beechfield Association in Corsham where he lives, and is a regular runner around Bath and Corsham.
