The health and safety of visitors and staff is of paramount importance to us all and we want to share ongoing advice related to Covid-19 (coronavirus) to ensure that you enjoy your visit to Bath and the surrounding area.
Bath & North East Somerset Council, Visit Bath, Bath BID and member businesses are continually revising policies in line with the latest Public Health England (PHE) advice, which includes increased cleanliness and hygiene procedures as well as travel advice.
Guidance on prevention measures, which includes ensuring the washing hands regularly, covering your mouth/nose with tissues when coughing or sneezing can be found here and here.
We want to assure you that the council is adhering to all guidelines and has put the additional practices in place at its venues which are:
- There are hand-sanitisers available around the Roman Baths, Victoria Art Gallery and Fashion Museum please use them
- We have introduced additional cleaning to our already strict routines
- All staff have also been issued with clear guidelines around COVID-19 and the workplace
- Contractors who work at our venues will be asked to sign a declaration form regarding any recent travel and will abide by the same guidelines as staff
