Dear Christmas Wrapper,

Thank you so much for your help wrapping this Christmas for Julian House. You are a star. Thank you for taking the time to enhance the experience of Bath shoppers and help raise well over £2000 for Julian House, our local homeless charity. The atmosphere in the wrapping station was wonderful and we thoroughly enjoyed meeting you all.

Cecil Weir of Julian House is delighted by the initiative;

“It’s a great boost for Julian House on two fronts – not just in raising much needed funds but also increased awareness. The crowds flocking to the city centre during those busy weeks running up to Christmas are primarily there for shopping. The excellent wrapping service is a really neat way of helping shoppers and helping our clients at the same time in a way that doesn’t spoil the mood of the experience. Many of the wrapping volunteers reported lots of really positive and supportive comments about the service. A win-win all round.”

Allison Herbert, CEO of Bath BID commented;

“It’s a wonderful and heart-warming activity. Over 100 people came to help wrap presents and there was a wonderful atmosphere in the wrapping station. It was a truly collaborative affair with support from many businesses in Bath including SteersMcGillanEves, Sainsbury’s, Thermae Bath Spa, Mail Boxes Etc, Nationwide, Manvers St Baptist Church, St Michael’s Church, The Makery, Suited & Booted, The Guildhall and The Print Co.”

Many thanks from all the team at Bath BID and Julian House.
