The Carbon Trust are holding a two-hour workshop to guide businesses on reducing their running costs through energy efficiency improvements.
The workshop will cover:
- Understanding and reducing energy bills through behaviours and low cost measures,
- Identifying major areas of energy consumption in small companies such as lighting and equipment.
- Access more detailed one-to-one support for businesses including energy audits
- Accessing capital funding contributions towards purchase a range of equipment, including energy efficient lighting, Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) and energy efficiency controls – vital equipment across a range of business sectors, including manufacturing, retail, and hospitality. (Eligible companies can apply for a capital contribution of between £750 and £5,000 to cover up to 15% of an energy efficiency project or equipment replacement cost.)
