On Thursday 2nd July, up to 24 corporate teams from across the local area will go head to head in Julian House’s annual Brain of Bath Quiz – all to help raise much need awareness and funds to help vulnerable men and women suffering from homelessness.
Now in its 21st year, the quiz, which will take place in the beautiful Assembly Rooms in Bath, will see the quizzers’ knowledge put to the test with a range of topical and special rounds including music, picture and of course, the famous smells round! Last year, architectural firm Feilden Clegg Bradley pipped former winners Thrings to the winning spot, with just two points, to claim the famous Brain of Bath trophy. Cathy Adcock, Fundraising Manager compèred the evening saying: “It is always a popular fixture in the Julian House calendar. The atmosphere is terrific and although by its very nature it is competitive, it’s competitive in the right way. The banter is fantastic, and participants get to show off their individual snippets of knowledge.”
Events organiser Jessica Gay added: “By attending the event you’re helping us support some of the most vulnerable men and women in society. Without support like ours, the life expectancy of a long-term homeless person is just 45 years! But by attending, you can help change that.”
Entry is open now (maximum 10 people per team) and tables can be booked here. Early booking is recommended. The entry fee also includes a light supper from renowned caters Searcys.
