We are delighted to introduce a new member of the team, Emily McKay, who joins the BID as our new Head of Communications and Marketing.
Emily brings over six years of marketing and communications experience and has worked in the Marketing team at Visit Bath for the past three years. She is also on the Board of Trustees of Bath Mind, a local independent mental health charity working across B&NES and Wiltshire.
Emily will manage the BID’s marketing strategy, coordinate their digital channels, act as the go-to contact for press, and work in partnership with Visit Bath on consumer campaigns to support businesses in the city. She will also be looking after the BID’s wonderful team of Welcome Ambassadors, who offer a warm and informed welcome to visitors to the city.
Emily McKay said: “I am excited to be taking on the role of Head of Marketing and Communications at the Bath BID. As a born-and-bred Bathonian, I am extremely passionate about the city and take my role in supporting the economy through this difficult time very seriously.
“I am proud of all of the work I’ve been able to do to support Bath’s businesses at Visit Bath and am pleased to be able to continue to do this in a new capacity at the Bath BID.”
Bath BID CEO, Allison Herbert, said: “I am really delighted to welcome Emily to the team during this exciting and important time for the Bath BID.”
