Bath BID has been successful in an application via Bath and North East Somerset Council for a grant for an Electric Cargo (eCargo) trike, as part of a £2 million government scheme.
The trike will be ordered from Bath-based Cycles Maximus and will include bespoke fittings so that the BID can water flowers, do responsive cleans and transport the essential tools needed by our rangers.
The trike will be particularly useful in light of the recently announced temporary road closures and pavement widening for social distancing, as it will be small enough to pass through bollards safely, helping to ensure we can continue to provide our valuable ranger services to keep the city safe, clean and welcoming as it gradually reopens.
