This week, Bath BID Chief Executive Allison Herbert joined the Bath BID Board as a Director at the BID’s AGM, attended a Visit West Board meeting at the SS Great Britain, and welcomed the beginning of this year’s Bath Digital Festival…

“The Bath BID’s Annual General Meeting on Wednesday evening was a great success, with all decisions unanimously accepted. You can view the Bath BID Articles here.

“At the AGM, I officially joined the Board as a Director. I would like to offer a warm welcome to our new Directors, Jo Harrod-Bertinet and Michael Corr – we are really looking forward to working with them.

“At the meeting, we discussed city connectivity, and we will be picking up that issue with our partners at Bath & North East Somerset Council and the West of England Combined Authority to ensure that the city’s needs are understood.

“I was pleased to attend the launch of this year’s Bath Digital Festival on Monday evening. We are delighted to sponsor the event, and in particular, their Third Thursdays networking events, as part of our business support activity.

“One of the ways I represent Bath’s businesses is by attending Visit West Board meetings. It was great to have an in-person meeting at the SS Great Britain on Thursday, where we discussed the challenges faced by the tourism sector, how Visit West could play a strategic role in supporting businesses with staffing, sustainability and promotional challenges, and how the team is working closely with national government to ensure that our region is at the forefront of the minds of decision makers.”
