Northumberland Place

Following on from the success of the Westgate Street clean up, Northumberland Place was the next area of the city for the Environment Group to tackle.

Businesses, landlords, council services, police, McDonalds and other local businesses are meeting in June to plan the clean up activity which will took place in the Summer of 2010.

This culminated in a street party on the 27th August 2010.  The group also won a Bath in Bloom award -Cleanest Street with floral displays - 2010 Award.

Clean up project plan June 2010

The first picture below can be found hanging on the walls of the Coeur De Lion in Northumberland Place.  It shows the vibrancy in this area of the city which the retailers and businesses are trying to recreate.

The second image is a painting is by Irene Marsh and prints are available from The Bath Gallery, Bridge Street.
