Great Bath Feast 2013

Bath businesses are turning up the heat in the lead up to the Great Bath Feast, a month of food and celebrations throughout October. From celebrity chefs to cheese festivals, beers and ales to fine wines, supper clubs to Michelin-starred banquets, businesses across Bath will be showcasing their foodie credentials.

The Great Bath Feast is a citywide collaboration coordinated by Bath Tourism Plus in partnership with The Bath Business Improvement District. Now into its second year, the feastival gets businesses across the city involved in celebrating the abundance of produce and fine food and drink in the South West with over 100 themed events involving more than 100 Bath businesses.

Kickstarting the festival is a special Michelin-starred Great Bath Feast Banquet at Bath Abbey, a hotly anticipated charity event which sold out moments after tickets went on sale. For one night only the sell-out banquet sees Bath-based chefs Hywel Jones (Lucknam Park), Sam Moody (The Bath Priory Hotel) and Chris Staines (The Allium Brasserie) cooking a three course meal in the majestic Bath Abbey accompanied by wines from Great Western Wines – sure to be the talk of the culinary calendar.

In true city wide collaboration, more than 60 Bath businesses will be offering great offers and special menus exclusively for the  Great Bath Feast and these offers can be downloaded from the website. Experience new flavours with the citywide Bath Taste Trail featuring ‘try me’ destinations including Great Western Wine, Jamie’s Deli, The Fudge Kitchen, Independent Spirits of Bath, Paxton and Whitfield and Vom Fass.
